We Support Our Community Hospital

MarinHealth Raccoons was founded in 1961 by twenty-seven community health focused women from the Tiburon Peninsula.

Since being established, the MarinHealth Raccoons has grown to 45 active members and has raised over $6 million in donations through various fundraisers supporting a wide variety of projects and equipment.

For the past 4 years we have focused our annual donation on behavioral health in Marin County. We initially raised funds to help jumpstart the Novato clinic, and have continued to donate to keep it running. We are now helping to fund the new adolescent clinic at the UCSF MarinHealth campus in Greenbrae opening this May.

In addition to our annual donation, we give ongoing support for the volunteer services at UCSF MarinHealth through funding various projects, from the high school staffed SMILE cart to the scholarship program for staff and volunteers, and many more.

We strive to support the welfare of patients & staff and are always ready to find new ways to accomplish this. Our Mocktail Mondays for the staff and volunteers are a hospital favorite and are quickly becoming a tradition we’re proud to be part of.

Over the year’s we have given annually to these beloved and necessary programs at UCSF MarinHealth...
